Lunar New Year Festival Hosted in Houston

1/28/2023, Lunar New Year Festival was hosted in Houston. The festival includes varies exhibition of Chinese culture, traditional handcrafts, flower market, Chinese cuisine, lion dance performance, Shao Lin Kong Fu performance, Chinese painting and artwork, etc.


The Festival was hosted by Southern News Group, there are hundreds of business owner participated the celebration. Mr. Lee Wei Hua, the chairman of Southern News group gave his acknowledgement to all guests, the festival invited the mayor of Houston Sylvester Turner, congress representative of Houston Sheila Jackson Lee and other government officers and organizations.



May Liu, art and humanity consul made presence to the event on behalf of Superstar Art Foundation, and gave her support to the celebration exhibiting her new painting the "Black Rabbit". 2023 Lunar new year celebration also hosted in Asian society Texas which exhibits Chinese culture and heritage.


Participants enjoyed the festival celebration despite the rainy weather .
